Sessions
Dome Fuji The main form of presentations will be in oral sessions (approx. 20 min per talk) during the day. Evening sessions will include a poster and hardware session; a "movie and popcorn night" to view videos from participants on their drilling projects and field operations; and a session of external invited talks on special topics of interest. All participants are encouraged to attend these evening sessions.

Recognizing that we often learn more from our failures than from our successes, the conference organizers have proposed a special session on learning from failure. This session is designed to give participants the opportunity to share valuable experiences on approaches to problems and challenges that were not successful. These experiences seldom, if ever, are recorded in papers and articles, yet they form an important body of knowledge that is of great value to the community. We encourage all participants to share their experiences in this session. No set time limit is specified for presentations in this session which will take the form of an open forum.

Proceedings
Papers of the workshop will be published as an issue of the Annals of Glaciology. Articles to be included are due to the editors no later than one month after the meeting.
