Costs
Costs for participants are $109 US per day. This fee covers the costs of all regular meals and lodging. NCTC accepts all major credit cards. There will be a nominal registration fee for all participants of $35 US to cover the costs of special events and a banquet fee of $40. These fees will be payable in cash at the workshop registration desk on the day of your arrival.
Authors submitting papers for the conference volume are advised that page charges for the issue of Annals of Glaciology that will constitute the conference volume will be 90 GBP ($165 US, 132 euros) per page. For color page charges, please refer to the Journal of Glaciology rates (http://www.igsoc.org/journal/instructions.html). Authors paying page charges are entitled to a free copy of the Annals conference volume. All other participants will be able to purchase the Annals volume at the members’ rate. In the unlikely event that your institution is unable to pay page charges at all, we will try to locate funds for the publication. Be aware that this opportunity may be very limited and that any available funds will be granted based on the evaluation of the reviewers, editors and the steering committee.
Making Your Reservations
All participants are requested to fill out the lodging reservations form on this website as soon as possible and return it either by fax or by email to the address indicated on the form no later than August 30. Your reservations will be sent forward to NCTC. It is not necessary for invited attendees to complete the section on credit card information. Please be advised that NCTC is a non-smoking campus. This includes all lodging, meeting, and dining areas. Dress is casual and the average September daytime temperatures are between 60 - 70 degrees F (16 - 21 degrees C).
